Resilience Self-Authoring Exercise #3: Envisioning a Resilient Future

Objective: To set goals that foster resilience.

Instructions:

  1. Future Challenges: Imagine future scenarios that could be challenging. What are they, and why might they be difficult?
  2. Resilient Self: Envision your future self handling these challenges successfully. Describe what qualities, knowledge, and skills you use.
  3. Goal Setting: Based on your envisioned challenges and resilient self, set specific goals for yourself. What will you do to develop the qualities and skills needed?
  4. Action Plan: Break down these goals into actionable steps. How will you start? What milestones can you set?
