Mine your leads. Instructions here.

This week, we’re building resilience through self-authoring.

This exercise should take up most of your Golden Hour. But if you have time left, read to this blog post on developing Skills.

Exercise 4: Losing an Important Client

Objective: To reflect on the experience of losing a key client, understand the impact, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Part 1: Reflecting on the Past Challenge

  1. Describe the Situation: Write a detailed account of losing the important client. Include the client’s name (if appropriate), the nature of the business relationship, and how the loss occurred. What were the circumstances leading to this loss?
  2. Analyze the Impact: Reflect on how losing this client affected your business. Did it lead to financial difficulties, changes in team morale, or operational disruptions? How did you feel about this loss?
  3. Evaluate Your Response: Detail the steps you took immediately after losing the client. What actions did you take to manage the situation? How effective were these actions?
