This week, we’re going to improve the ROI on your expenses.

Today, we’ll seek to optimize ROI on professional services.

Look at your Expense sheet and highlight all of the professional services done by a human.

For example: bookkeeping, legal, mentorship or coaching, human resources, IT, cleaning, marketing…

Contact each of those people. Send each this email (tailor to suit you):
Subject: Maximizing Our Collaboration

Hi [Name],

I hope you’re doing well! I’ve been reflecting on the value your services bring to my business, and I’m eager to ensure we’re making the most of our time together.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on how we can achieve an even greater return on our collaboration. Are there any opportunities or strategies we haven’t explored yet that could amplify our results?

I appreciate all that you do and look forward to hearing your suggestions.

[Your Name]

You’re not looking to pay them more. Some might suggest a service that costs more but increases your return; you can decide if that’s a good investment. Right now, you’re seeking to improve the return you get on your current investment.

Don’t be scared to ask. As a mentor, I love it when my clients ask “How can I get a better return on our time together?”
(The answer, by the way, is to do the work that I assign faster. Block off an hour in your day and follow the GOLDEN principle.)
