This week, we’re going to improve your CEO skills by leveraging your team better.
Yesterday, you chose one new product or service that you can add to your existing base.
You chose one staff person who would best deliver this service.
Today, you will contract the staff person to run the new service on a trial basis.
You will provide:
Access to your audience (marketing is mostly done)
Insurance
Equipment
Space
Time in your schedule
Payment gateways
Promotion (you’ll do a little of the marketing too)
Your staff person will provide:
Their time
A hand with the marketing.
You will pay them either hourly OR a percentage of revenue from this new service (up to 44% of the revenue collected.)
Write out a description of the new service. Make it clear, so you’re both working toward the same goal.
Use an Impact Filter or similar document.
Walk the staff person through the opportunity.
Describe their pay rate in dollars (not percentages) – for example, $x per person or $y per sale.
If they agree, set a date for launch and book time to mentor them through it. Mentoring your staff is really the lynchpin to improving EHR.
