Golden Hour Fitness Challenge – Day 1
This is the start of a 30-day focus on fitness for CEOs, entrepreneurs and leaders.
Today:
Go to a sacred place
Find a place dedicated to your fitness and nothing else.
Open your mind with some meditation.
Write for 5 minutes, talk into a voice recorder for 5 minutes, or just sit and watch your thoughts for 5 minutes.
Lead With Slow Movement
Spend 1 minute in each of these:
Mountain Pose
Forward Fold
Plank pose
Downward-facing dog
Child’s pose

Do As Much As You Can in 30:00
Put on your heart rate monitor. Spend 30 minutes in Zone 2: 65-75% of your max heart rate. Here’s a video on the subject. Bike, jog, walk on a treadmill, swim…try your best to keep your heart rate in that zone.
End At the Hour
You probably won’t be efficient today. You might not feel prepared. You might forget your headphones or lose your shoes. You might only get 15 minutes in Zone 2. That’s ok. You’re building the habit. You’ll do better tomorrow.
Next Steps: Pack Your Lunch
The key to improving your fitness is in the planning. Put a bottle of water in your bag. Pack a lunch and one snack. Do not leave food to chance.
