Golden Hour Fitness Challenge – Day 2
This is the second day of a 30-day focus on fitness for CEOs, entrepreneurs and leaders. You can start at any point. Listen to the podcast at the bottom of this post for instructions and goals.
Today:
Go to a sacred place
Find a place dedicated to your fitness and nothing else.
Open your mind with some meditation.
Write for 5 minutes, talk into a voice recorder for 5 minutes, or just sit and watch your thoughts for 5 minutes.
Lead With Slow Movement
Perform 1 air squat and 1 pushup; then 2 air squats and 2 pushups; 3 of each; etc until you reach 5 of each. Then spend 1:00 each stretching hamstrings, quads, lower back, pecs and upper back.
Do As Much As You Can in 30:00
“Angie”
For time, perform:
100 pull-ups
100 push-ups
100 sit-ups
100 squats
If this is your first “Angie”, break up the pullups, pushups, situps and squats any way you want (10 at a time, etc.) Just check them off in any order.
If you’d like to try it Rx, do it in this order without breaking it up.
End At the Hour
You might not get through the entire workout. Finish at the 30:00 mark anyway.
Next Steps: Pack Your Lunch
The key to improving your fitness is in the planning. Put a bottle of water in your bag. Pack a lunch and one snack. Do not leave food to chance.
